Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

• Email address for account login, password reset, support, and deletion verification when you add or sign in with an email.
• Supabase user ID and app user IDs, including guest user IDs, needed for account, sync, purchases, and deletion processing.
• Reading preferences such as WPM, theme, font, word color, and genre preferences.
• Reading activity such as viewed stories, saves, likes, completion progress, and weekly goal progress.
• Personal story content you create, paste, import from user-selected text, DOCX, or text PDF files, or edit. Imported files are read to extract story text. Local-only drafts stay on your device. Signed-in saved stories may be stored in Supabase for account persistence.
• Public story submissions, reports, blocks, creator terms acceptance, moderation status, moderation notes, and aggregate creator stats.
• Purchase entitlement information from Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
• Reading reminder preference and locally scheduled notification identifiers if you enable reminders.

Data We Do Not Collect

PagePace does not request photo library, camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, health, or browsing history permissions. The current app does not include a photo upload feature, broad photo library access, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking.

AI-Assisted Content

Some PagePace-provided stories may be created, selected, edited, or reviewed with AI-assisted editorial tools. PagePace uses human-directed review before including these stories in the app.

The current app does not send your personal stories, imported files, public submissions, account data, or reading activity to a third-party AI service for generation or review. If that changes, PagePace will update this policy and any required in-app or store disclosures before launch of that feature.

How We Use Data

• Authenticate users and protect account access.
• Sync saves, likes, history, progress, settings, and signed-in personal stories.
• Review, moderate, publish, unpublish, and display public story submissions.
• Unlock purchased PagePace Plus access and restore purchases.
• Improve the in-app reading and recommendation experience.
• Respond to support, privacy, report, block, and deletion requests.

User Content

Personal stories stay private unless you choose to submit one publicly. Public submissions can be reviewed by PagePace moderation and, if approved, shown to other readers in community feeds.

Readers can report public stories and block creators. Reports and blocks are used for moderation and safety. We show aggregate creator stats, not lists of which users liked, saved, reported, or blocked a story.

Payments

PagePace Plus purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. RevenueCat manages purchase entitlements and restore purchases. PagePace does not directly receive or store full payment card numbers.

Third-Party Services

PagePace uses Supabase for authentication, cloud sync, database records, Edge Functions, and account deletion processing. PagePace uses RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlements and restore purchases.

Account Deletion

You can request email account deletion or delete guest data in the app from Settings > Account. Deletion removes or anonymizes eligible PagePace account or guest records unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, billing, purchase-record, or safety reasons.

Local-only drafts stored on your device are removed by deleting the app or clearing local app data. Active subscriptions must be cancelled through the store where they were purchased.
