Content Access

Content access in PagePace 1.1 remains as shown in the installed app; this update does not require an upgrade or promise retirement of existing PagePace 1.1 content. The core reader is available on Free. In PagePace 1.2, Free includes three Bookshelf readings and Plus includes 250; a saved EPUB uses one Bookshelf slot. Existing over-limit readings remain available to read, edit, or delete, and deleting one frees its slot.

PagePace 1.2 supports personal reading from pasted text, Safari sharing, supported documents, and local DRM-free EPUB files. Read now for Safari, pasted, or document text is transient and does not save the reading body to Bookshelf; related Stats or import-meter data may still be retained. EPUB files must be saved to a Bookshelf slot before reading.

In the updated PagePace 1.2 Safari allowance, Free includes 10 successful Safari imports per device per calendar month in the timezone recorded when the device allowance is set up. Sharing the same article again counts as another import; retrying the same unfinished attempt does not count twice. Failed or cancelled imports do not count. Saving an article after using Read now does not count it again. Plus has unlimited Safari imports, but does not have unlimited Bookshelf capacity.

Accounts

PagePace may create a guest user ID so the app works before you add an email. You can add an email to protect access across devices. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address used for your account. Guest data deletion and email account deletion can be started in the app from Settings > Account.

Personal Imports

Private or device-local use is not a blanket copyright exception. A website subscription or Plus subscription does not grant additional rights to third-party content. Do not use PagePace to make unauthorized copies, bypass access restrictions, or redistribute content without authorization.

Imported or user-created stories remain your responsibility. Only import content you have the rights and legal permission to use. Access to a third-party site or subscription does not grant permission to redistribute its content. Do not bypass paywalls, DRM, or other access controls; technical extraction success does not establish rights.

External links are not endorsements or affiliations, and PagePace does not guarantee that a source is free or compatible. Extraction can omit or misidentify text; review imported text before reading and keep the original source.

External Websites And Your Own Links

Browse is a directory of external links, not a collection of content licensed to PagePace. Opening a link takes you to the original website in your browser; it does not automatically import its content. Website names identify destinations and do not imply sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement.

You may add your own website links to Your picks. A default listing, a saved pick, or the ability to share a page is not permission to copy, adapt, store, sync, or redistribute its content. You must comply with applicable law, the source website terms, and the rights or license for the particular work. PagePace does not guarantee availability, price, accuracy, or compatibility of external websites.

Open licenses may require attribution, a source and license link, notices of changes, or share-alike licensing. Keep required author, source, copyright, and license notices. Public-domain status varies by country; government websites can contain third-party copyrighted material. Check the specific work rather than assuming the whole website is unrestricted.

Public Story Submissions

PagePace 1.2 does not support new public story submissions. PagePace 1.1 may continue to offer public submissions and community features where available. For any story you submit publicly through PagePace 1.1, you confirm that you have the rights needed to share it and grant PagePace permission to host, display, moderate, distribute, and promote it inside PagePace and related store or marketing surfaces while available.

PagePace may review, reject, request edits, unpublish, or remove public stories. Where available in PagePace 1.1, readers can report public stories and block creators; otherwise, they may contact support.

Public stories must not contain copied or stolen content, hate or slurs targeting protected classes, harassment, doxxing, threats, explicit sexual content, sexual violence, child sexual content, self-harm encouragement, practical violence instructions, spam, or content that is not suitable for PagePace. PagePace may limit or disable public posting for accounts that repeatedly or severely violate these rules.

Copyright Complaints And DMCA Notices

Do not upload, import, save, or publicly submit content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights. PagePace may remove or disable access to content that appears to infringe copyright and may limit or terminate posting privileges for repeat infringers.

Copyright complaints may be sent to PagePace's registered DMCA designated agent with enough information to identify the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized. Registered DMCA designated agent information is available at DMCA Notices.

Dispute Resolution

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and PagePace agree to try to resolve disputes informally first by contacting pagepace.support@gmail.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring eligible claims in small claims court or seek injunctive relief for misuse of intellectual property, account abuse, or security issues.

Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis. You and PagePace waive the right to bring or participate in class actions, class arbitrations, representative actions, or jury trials to the fullest extent permitted by law. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days after first accepting these Terms by emailing pagepace.support@gmail.com with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and the email address associated with your account, if any.

Purchases And Subscriptions

Mobile digital purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their terms. RevenueCat may be used to manage entitlements and restore purchases. The localized store confirmation screen controls price, period, renewal, and any trial eligibility. Restore Purchases is available in Settings.

Active subscriptions must be managed or cancelled through the store where they were purchased. Deleting the app or a PagePace account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Play Store subscription. This update does not change the price or renewal terms of an existing subscription; consult your store subscription settings.
